generally i'm not a big fan of westerners coming in and buying up chinese brands for exploitation, but in this case i think FEIYUE have gotten a pretty awesome deal. the products look great and i like that they're keeping with the heritage of the design, along with some cool looking artist collabs. yay, feiyue. i love when foreigners get it right.

Hmmm ... maybe I heard it wrong but a friend told me Fei Yue never registered it as a trademark and some French guys basically stole the brand name as a result and sell it for 50 euro upwards outside of China. Apparently there's a legal battle ongoing. Purely hearsay on my side though, haven't looked in to it in more detail yet.
i've never heard anything like that? where did you hear that from?
A friend was looking at trying to sell Fei Yue online and heard something about those French guys getting a bit protective and saying only they have the rights, then my friend talked to Fei Yue in China and they said something about that. Let me check it out and get back to you!
